The Academic Council Meeting of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Ondokuz Mayıs University (OMÜ) was held with the participation of Rector Prof. Dr. Fatma Aydın. The meeting was attended by Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Alper Kesten and Prof. Dr. Çetin Kurnaz; Secretary General Prof. Dr. Erhan Burak Pancar; Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences Prof. Dr. Vedat KELEŞ; the dean’s assistants; and the faculty’s academic staff. The academic activities, education and teaching processes, and scientific research efforts of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences were discussed. While evaluating the faculty’s current projects and academic goals, participants exchanged views on topics such as enhancing research capacity, improving the quality of education, and strengthening university-industry collaboration. Rector Prof. Dr. Fatma Aydın met with the faculty administration and academic staff to discuss the work being carried out. The meeting concluded after the exchange of views and suggestions.**
